Penelope Orfila-Molinet is an IB Sophomore and Sophomore Class President at
Campbell High School who created the Spartan Insider and founded the school’s
newspaper club with the help of co-president Carlos Silva. Together, they work to
develop the newspaper as a tool to give the students a voice, to educate and entertain
the student body, and to represent Campbell High School in its glory. Along with her
interests in journalism, she is also passionate about psychology and business, all of
which help fuel her determination and hard work. Penelope spends her free time enjoys
reading, baking, scrapbooking, playing video games, and working out. One of her
favorite things to read is the articles over teachers and staff members, because they,
both the articles and unfortunately the staff, get overlooked and they are quite
interesting once you do take the time to see them. This year, she hopes to use her time
in the club to fully flesh out the Spartan Insider and to make it something valuable,
especially for the students.
