Should you watch the Wicked movie if you haven’t seen it already?

 Last November, the movie Wicked came out and was almost immediately one of the top most trending movies in 2024. Wicked is a movie adaptation of the popular Broadway play. With its catchy soundtrack and famous cast, the movie had been built up a lot in the months leading up to its release. Different companies featured the green and pink color schemes in their products and countless trailers were displayed everywhere. The movie is about two witches who seem to be opposite in every aspect, but find a way to create an unlikely friendship. Wicked explains how Elphaba became the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda became The Good Witch. It is rated four out five stars and currently has a rating of 88% on rotten tomatoes. The next part of the movie is going to be released on November 21 this year, and had the filming completed on January 26. While most people love this movie, some people find it to be an oversimplified and shallow portrayal of the complex characters shown in the movie. There are also complaints of it being overhyped, having a lack of originality, and too strong of a focus on female rivalry. Overall though, this movie is a wonderful adaptation of the play version, and should definitely be at least watched once in your life
